Public information staff provides direct assistance to the public in response to telephone or in-person inquiries at the City Information Center, answering approximately 100,000 telephone calls each year.

The responsibilities of the City Information Center include:

• Distribute Citywide news, press releases, and updates.
• Administer the Citizen Services Directory, a searchable database of phone numbers and addresses of City departments, programs, and agencies
