The Department of Race and Equity is committed to behavioral science and research-based evidence as part of the decision-making process related to policymaking, practices, and processes that best serve the residents of the City of San Diego. Our department works with the Performance and Analytics Department (PandA) and academic partners to develop data collection practices to measure the equity work happening in the City of San Diego.
