Eligible pregnant employees are entitled to LTD benefits if they have been medically certified as disabled from performing the duties of their regular occupation. In the majority of cases, the date of delivery is established as the date of disability. If secondary, complicating medical conditions arise during your pregnancy which disable you from working, medical certification describing your medical condition must be provided.
