Major Sewer Pipe Rehabilitation along SR 163 Begins Construction

The SR 163 Sewer Pipeline Rehabilitation Project will extend the life of the 45-year-old Cabrillo Trunk Sewer by more than 50 years to ensure proper sewage collection and reduce sewer spills. This project will restore the structural integrity of the pipe, inhibit root infiltration, and reduce maintenance costs caused by age, tree roots and breaks. Overnight partial and full closures of SR 163 are scheduled for the upcoming weeks. Visit the project's Web page for more information.
