Public Services & Public Safety Section

Public Services & Public Safety Section advises Purchasing & Contracting (including Equal Opportunity Contracting), Information Technology, Performance & Analytics, Communications and Fleet. Issues include the use of social media, intellectual property, emergency communications, and living and prevailing wage enforcement. 

Additionally, the Section advises Police, Fire, Lifeguards, and Homeland Security, on issues such as drones, body worn cameras, mutual aid, marijuana and homelessness. The attorneys in this Section appear in Superior Court and assist in the handling of administrative hearings related to public safety issues.
