Vicram ‘Vic’ Vettiyil

Born and raised in Tucson, AZ, Vic moved to San Diego in 2012 to attend the UC San Diego, where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Public Health. Vic also holds a Master’s degree in Public Health from the University of Arizona. He is fluent in Malayalam, a South Indian dialect. 

Vic has served in various community outreach positions on campaigns for Congressman Mike Levin (CA-49), Congresswoman Sara Jacobs (CA-53), Senator Elizabeth Warren, and former Congressman Gil Cisneros. 

Vic is proud to serve as the Senior District Representative and as a Policy Advisor in the District 7 Office. Vic serves the communities of Lake Murray, San Carlos, Serra Mesa, and Tierrasanta. He serves as an advisor to the Councilmember on the Public Safety & Livable Neighborhoods Committee and the Mission Trails Regional Park Task Force.

In his spare time, Vic can be found hiking a nature trail in San Diego with his dog, Kaido, or spending time exploring the rest of the city.
