City of San Diego Planning Department Recognized by the SDAPA for its Accomplishments

On May 17, 2018, the San Diego Section of the American Planning Association (SDAPA) hosted an awards banquet recognizing great accomplishments in planning for the region over the past year. The City of San Diego, in partnership with its associated consultant teams and local planning groups, was presented two awards and two honorable mentions of the 16 awards/honorable mentions bestowed. The awards included the Best Practice Award for the Grantville Trolley Station/Alvarado Creek Revitalization Study and the Comprehensive Plan – Large Jurisdiction Award for the San Ysidro Community Plan. The honorable mentions were for the Comprehensive Plan – Large Jurisdiction for the North Park Community Plan and for Public Outreach regarding the San Ysidro Community Engagement Strategy.
