Kathleen St. John, Pianist-Soloist, with the San Diego Youth Symphony in 1957. She went on to become an accomplished composer, pianist, artist and playwright, receiving her B.M. Degree in Music Composition from the Juilliard School in 1971. She also studied electronic music at the Columbia-Princeton Electronic Music Center and has received numerous commissions from repertory companies, universities, and individual performers throughout this country and abroad.
