The Zebra Club at 560 Fifth Avenue, between Market and Island, Circa 1970. It was one of the many places for bands to play around San Diego and, according to San Diego Concert Archives, it was among the most popular ones. The Crawdaddys and The Dinette's performed there. The original Crawdaddys lineup formed in 1978. The Dinette's formed in 1979 as an all-girl band. The building was restored as part of the Gaslamp Quarter preservation and is now a restaurant.
