Calling all TEENS!!

Mark your calendars! Teen Nite event Kick-Off is scheduled for Friday, July 8, 2022 from 5:30 - 8:30pm. Teens 12-17 years old will be able to sign-in (sign-in required day of events) to recieve access to awesome crafts, on-site rentals, off site field trips (restrictions apply), indoor/outdoor tournaments, food and much more!!
Dates: July 8 - August 26, 2022
Day: Fridays Only
Time: 5:30 - 8:30pm
Ages: 12-17 years
Cost: FREE (Sign-in required on day of each)

History of the Center

The South Bay Recreation Center Gymnasium is dedicated to the memory of Robert Egger Sr., a dairy farmer, who in 1946 donated the land upon which the park now stands, to ensure the community would have park facilities at that location. Egger died in 1978 after living in and serving the South Bay community for 58 years.

From Interstate 5, take the Coronado Avenue exit and turn west on Coronado, then left on Saturn Avenue. The facility and adjacent parking lot are on the right.

The center is accessible by bus via SDMTS Routes 901 and 933/934.
