Linda Vista Comprehensive Active Transportation Strategy

Improving the walking and biking network in Linda Vista

The City of San Diego has initiated the Linda Vista Comprehensive Active Transportation Strategy (CATS) plan in support of efforts to promote active transportation options through pedestrian and bicycle improvements. The purpose of the Linda Vista CATS plan is to develop a network that provides direct and convenient connections for residential areas, schools, employment centers, transit stations, public places, retail, and community destinations. Development of the plan includes an analysis of Linda Vista's existing pedestrian and bicycle conditions and needs with an emphasis on community input throughout the process. The plan will ultimately identify mobility improvements and provide a prioritization of projects for implementation. The CATS plan is funded by an Active Transportation Grant from San Diego Association of Governments (SANDAG).

A Draft Linda Vista Comprehensive Active Transportation Strategy (LVCATS) Plan is available. Please review the Draft and provide any comments to Melissa Garcia, Senior Planner at [email protected] or (619) 236-6173 by November 30, 2016. The Draft LVCATS will be presented to the Linda Vista Planning Group at the November 28, 2016 meeting. The meeting will be held at 5:30 p.m. at the Linda Vista Branch Library, Community Room, 2160 Ulric Street, San Diego, CA 92111
