Pacific Beach

Pacific Beach is an eclectic and diverse community that attracts professionals, families, young adults, students, surfers, and retirees alike. It is bounded by I-5 on the east, the ocean on the west, Mission Beach and Mission Bay on the south, and La Jolla on the north. With nearly 47,000 residents, 1,500 businesses, and several hotels, Pacific Beach is truly a beach town. Its iconic sandy shoreline stretches over two miles, adjacent to the residential and commercial areas of the community. Pacific Beach is one of the busiest beach areas in San Diego, drawing large summer crowds. It is a haven where locals and visitors can explore restaurants, pubs, shops, and Mission Bay. Pacific Beach was added to District 1 by the 2021 Redistricting Commission.
