Digital Director

Kathryn DeGeller is an accomplished public relations and communications professional from North County San Diego with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications and Information Sciences from the University of Alabama. As Council President Pro Tem Joe LaCava’s Digital Director, Kathryn comes with extensive experience in government communications, digital media practices, and marketing campaigns to bolster policy priorities and constituent services.

Kathryn previously worked as a Digital Content Manager for the San Diego County Board of Supervisors (District 4), and in Washington D.C. on Capitol Hill as Press Assistant for U.S. Representative Mike Levin (CA-49) and Congressional Intern for U.S. Representative Suzan DelBene (WA-1). In her free time, Kathryn enjoys exploring San Diego’s culinary scene with friends and family, getting lost in a good book, and listening to Taylor Swift as a self-proclaimed Swiftie.
