Programs
The Equal Opportunity Contracting (EOC) Program manages the following programs:
- Small Local Business Enterprises (SLBE) Program
It is the City of San Diego's policy to encourage greater availability, capacity development, and contract participation by small local business enterprises in City contracts. - Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) Program
The City's DBE Program helps ensure that disadvantaged businesses have a fair opportunity to compete for and participate in the City's federally funded transportation and aviation contracts.
EOC also maintains a partnership with the federal government that is geared towards aiding the growth of small and emerging business contractors:
- Small Business Administration (SBA) Program
The mission of the U. S. Small Business Administration (SBA) is to aid, counsel, assist, and protect the interests of small business by providing financial, contractual, and business development assistance and advocating on their behalf within the government.
