Citizens Equal Opportunity Commission

The Citizens Equal Opportunity Commission (CEOC) monitors and evaluates the Equal Opportunity Program of the City of San Diego. It advises and makes recommendations to the Mayor, City Council, Civil Service Commission, and other appropriate agencies of City government. The CEOC assists in the recruitment of competent historically underrepresented groups, women, and disabled community members and promotes the City as an Equal Opportunity Employer of individuals and firms desiring to contract with the City.

The CEOC is composed of eleven (11) members, each appointed by the Mayor and confirmed by the City Council for a 2-year term.

The City seeks individuals interested in serving on the CEOC. If you would like to be considered for appointment to this commission, you may submit an application online.

Meetings

The CEOC meets regularly on the first Wednesday of each month. Meeting notices, agendas, and minutes are posted below.
