Book of photos from the Japan Maritime Self-Defense Force's 1966 Training Cruise (JMSDF). The Japan Maritime Self-Defense Force is the naval branch of the Japan Self-Defense Forces. Its main tasks are to maintain control of the nation's sea lanes and to patrol territorial waters. The training squadron periodically docks in San Diego as part of it overseas training activities.
