Illustrated book of paintings by Jose Reyes Mesa, an international painter, muralist and scenographer born in Tampico, Tamaulipas, Mexico in 1924. He won several awards for his work on scenes in plays and for murals. The government of Tamaulipas gave him the award 'Premio Estatal de Cultura 1992' (the State Prize of Culture). This was presented to the Mayor by Ramon Garza Barrios, Mayor of Nuevo Laredo. Occasion information was not provided to the City Clerk's office.
