Framed picture, 20 x 16 inches, of the H.M.A.S. Melbourne (R21), a Majestic-class light aircraft carrier of the Royal Australian Navy (RAN). Operating from 1955 until 1982, she was the third and final conventional aircraft carrier to serve in the RAN. This was presented to Mayor Wilson by the Royal Australian Navy on the occasion of the ship's visit to San Diego March 12-16, 1977.
