The Mobility Planning section collaborates with multiple disciplines and agencies to develop long-range plans that are aimed at enhancing mobility for users of all ages and abilities. The section considers recommendations in the General Plan’s Mobility Element in our planning efforts.

- Corridor Studies
- Specific Area Studies
- Roadway Connection Planning Studies
- Parking Studies
- Transportation Policy Analysis
In addition, the Mobility Planning section coordinates with the Traffic Engineering and Operations Division, which plans and manages capital improvement projects to improve traffic flow and safety. Among their many efforts, they are responsible for implementation of recommended multimodal improvements and manage the City's Bicycle Program.
