Setting Up Trash Service for New Homes

New homes may qualify for City trash service, or they may be served by a private hauler.

How to Sign Up

Step 1

Look up your property's Assessor's Parcel Number (APN).

Step 2

Type in your 10 digit APN to determine your property's eligibility.

Step 3

What You'll Get

You'll receive a City-provided gray bin for trash, blue bin for recycling, and green bin for organics (food scraps and yard waste), each in a 95-gallon size.

Need a different size or more bins? Adjust your service level in the Waste Portal.
