Join this workshop presented by Solana Center for Environmental Innovation at the Rancho Penasquitos Branch Library to learn how to decode food labels, get tips to prevent food waste and make the most of food scraps in your kitchen. Master Composter Course

Become an expert in composting! The Master Composter course provides lectures, demonstrations and hands-on training in the art and science of composting and soil management through five classes.
Classes will be held on Saturdays from 9:00 a.m. to noon, starting September 13 at the Japanese Friendship Garden and Museum in Balboa Park. More details and registration available here.
