Community Development Block Grant Program

FY 2015-2019 Consolidated Plan

The Consolidated Plan is prepared every five years, and its planning process serves as the framework for a community-wide dialogue to identify housing, economic, and community development needs and priorities. During the planning process for the current FY 2015–2019 Consolidated Plan (effective July 1, 2014, through June 30, 2019), the City sought and received much input from the community through various forums, surveys, presentations, and public meetings using multiple languages and mediums of communication. A more detailed description of the public participation process and community input received is available in the Citizen Participation Plan of the FY 2015–2019 Consolidated Plan (starting on page 278). Refer to the links below to access the materials distributed, as well as recordings of some of the meetings held.

Note that the official public comment period on the Draft Consolidated Plan ran from April 1 through April 30, 2014. However, the City continues to welcome input from interested parties. Any inquiries or comments regarding the Consolidated Plan and the programs and activities described therein should be directed to CDBG@sandiego.gov.
