Miramar Landfill Bus Tours

Hosted by I Love A Clean San Diego, this two-hour bus tour offers City of San Diego residents a behind-the-scenes look at what happens to waste after it is thrown away, helping demystify the idea that something goes “away.” The tour is available to City of San Diego residents only and requires participants to wear long pants and closed-toe shoes for safety. A signed waiver is required at the start of the tour, and the experience is not recommended for children under 12. Anyone under 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. Parking and pickup/drop-off details, as well as waiver information, are available online. The tour is made possible by the City of San Diego Environmental Services Department.
Refresh, Reuse, Recycle: Spring Cleaning Made Easy Webinar

Hosted by I Love A Clean San Diego, this webinar will cover practical zero-waste cleaning tips for every part of the home, including the kitchen, bathroom, laundry room, and common areas, along with sustainable swaps for common cleaning products and information on where to donate used items locally. A special guest speaker from Goodwill San Diego will also share resources available to residents, including soft plastics and e-waste recycling programs. Attendees who register and join will be entered into a drawing for one of three $20 Visa e-gift cards, and those who cannot attend live are still encouraged to register so they can receive the recording and additional resources. The event is sponsored by the City of San Diego.
Slow Down Swap Party at the Rancho Bernardo Earth Day Fair

Hosted by I Love A Clean San Diego, this FREE clothing swap takes place at Rancho Bernardo's Earth Day Fair. Participants are invited to slow down consumption, connect with the community, and exchange clothing and accessories while promoting reuse and sustainability.
