Reporting Narcotic Activity in Your Neighborhood

If narcotic activity is continuously occurring in your neighborhood, contact the Police Department to report the activity. Document the activity and keep a log.

  • Report suspicious activity to San Diego Police Department (619) 531-2000;
  • Contact the San Diego Police Department's Narcotics Unit (619) 531-2468;
  • Maintain a log of vehicular traffic, nuisance or suspicious activity;
  • If the problems continue, contact the Drug Abatement Response Team (DART) program unit at (619) 533-5655, or fill out the online form Community Request for Service/Solicitud de la Comunidad Para un Servicio and mail to DART, 1200 Third Ave., #700, San Diego, CA 92101.

If it is determined that DART prosecutors will file a case in court, you may be asked to provide a written declaration, called an Impact Statement, telling the judge how this problem has affected you, your family, or your neighborhood. DART can provide assistance so that your Impact Statements can be filed in Court.
