Central Library Underground Parking

Ace is the parking vendor that manages the Central Library's 250 underground parking spaces. The following parking rates are currently in effect:

• First two (2) hours free with validation* for library users Validation is available in the first floor lobby.
• $1.25 for each 20 minutes or part of 20 minutes
• $21 All Day Maximum

• Only credit card payments are accepted

Special Event Pricing

Central Library Underground Parking

Two (2) hours free validation will NOT be available after the special event parking rate start time.
We encourage you to take the bus or trolley to the Library for Padres home games and other major special event days!

Special Event Parking Zone

Parking meters within walking distance (0.5 miles) of Petco Park will be subject to Special Event rates during major stadium events beginning Sept. 1, 2025. During special event hours, meters are priced at $10/hour.

Additionally, parking meters are not enforced on Sundays and after 6 p.m. on weekdays and Saturdays.
