Playa 2 is also known as Information Cove South, or Playa Pacifica. Playa 2 is located south of the Visitors Information Center and north of the Mission Bay Resort on East Mission Bay Drive. There is a swimming area with a lifeguard on duty during the summer months. There is a tot lot, a picnic shelter, basketball courts, fire rings and a path for jogging or bike riding.

Note: Be sure to arrive very early on summer weekends as the parking lots tend to fill up quickly.
