Property Owner Advisory Meetings

As of July 1, 2025, the City contracted with Logan Heights Community Development Corporation (LHCDC) for management support to the district focused on assessment payer outreach and engagement. LHCDC will host Central Commercial MAD community advisory meetings and provide an opportunity to increase transparency and hear input about services funded with assessment dollars. Meetings are open to the public; everyone is welcome to attend and participate. More information such as meeting agendas and the link to sign up to the mailing list can be found at the LHCDC website at https://maintenanceassessmentdistrict.loganheightscdc.org/.

Summary

The Central Commercial Maintenance Assessment District was established by Resolution R- 201471 of the City Council on August 8, 2000. The District was formed in compliance with the provision of Proposition 218. An assessment ballot proceeding was conducted and the formation of the District was passed by assessment payers.

The District is located in the Southeastern San Diego Community Planning Area and includes:

  • Imperial Avenue from Interstate 5 to 32nd Street
  • Commercial Avenue from Interstate 5 to 28th Street
  • National Avenue from 28th Street to 32nd Street
  • All side streets in between Imperial Avenue and Commercial Avenue between Interstate 5 and 28th Street
