  • Water Conservation Garden - The Water Conservation Garden is cosponsored by the City of San Diego, Cuyamaca College, Helix Water District, Otay Water District, San Diego County Water Authority and Sweetwater Authority. The garden showcases demonstrations, exhibits, plant sales and other helpful options.
  • SoCal Water$mart Rebates - This website of the Metropolitan Water District of Southern California provides information regarding rebates available to Southern California residents.
  • California Department of Water Resources - This state website provides up-to-date information about drought conditions impacting California.
  • BeWaterWise - This Metropolitan Water District portal includes water-saving rebates and grants, landscape classes, water-wise garden inspiration and tips on how to lower your water use.
  • Save Our Water Program - This statewide, water conservation program focuses on making water conservation a daily habit among Californians through information and resources.
  • How to Maintain Your Trees During a Drought - This brochure by the California Forests Urban Council has helpful tips on how to grown and maintain trees during dry weather conditions.
  • Landscape Water Conservation - The California Landscape Contractors Association website provides information, tips and resources for professionals in creating drought-tolerant landscaping.
  • California Invasive Plant Council - Invasive, non-native plants can have a drastic impact on the natural flora of California, and often need more water than local natives.
  • Keep It in the Garden: Protect California's Natural Habitats - This brochure created by the University of California Cooperative Extention and the Master Gardeners of California focuses on the importance of native plant landscapes that are more drought-tolerant than non-native plants.
