Animal regulation control is different for each area in the City. Permittee must comply with posted rules.

• Dogs ARE NOT permitted, whether leashed or unleashed, upon any public beach or any public park adjacent thereto, or any sidewalk adjacent to any public beach between the hours of 9 a.m. and 6 p.m. Legally licensed dogs are permitted with or without leashes at anytime on Fiesta Island in Mission Bay Park and Dog Beach (North Ocean Beach - beach area at the west end of the San Diego River Flood Control Channel) in accordance with the San Diego Municipal Code (SDMC). • Developed Regional Parks prohibits pony rides, petting zoos and livestock demonstrations in parks.
