Monthly reports of water quality and ocean conditions for the San Diego coastal region surrounding the Point Loma Ocean Outfall (PLOO) and the South Bay Ocean Outfall (SBOO) are submitted to the San Diego Regional Water Quality Control Board and U.S. EPA Region 9 in accordance with National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (NPDES) permit requirements. These reports include receiving waters monitoring data collected from all NPDES mandated shore, kelp and offshore stations.
